In modem hockey practice, there is often a decrease in the working capacity and effectiveness of players, due to the tendency to increase the competitive load, increased density and intensity of the calendar of official games, which, in turn, indicates the need to identify the psychological aspects of the situation. In order to identify the dynamics of the psycho-emotional state of the athletes of the Omsk youth hockey team (25 people), testing and questioning were used in the process of the pre-competition mesocycle, taking into account the specifics of its microcycles. In the process of analyzing the studied indicators of the psychoemotional state of hockey players in the microcycles of the pre-competitive mesocycle, an increased tension in the general loading and pre-competitive microcycles was revealed, which indicated the need for organizing psychological and pedagogical training to form athletes' abilities to regulate their psycho-emotional state. The development and application of a complex of psychotechnics in the process of sports training in microcycles of the pre-competitive mesocycle allowed optimizing the negative manifestations of the psycho-emotional state in athletes, which allows us to recommend these psychotechnics for use in the practice of training hockey players.
