Abstract:
The article reveals a thorough analysis the problems that foreign students face when they come to study in Russia. The author delves into the problems that arise in the process of adaptation of foreign students at the initial stage of education. Based on literary analysis, the author examines the essence and content of the term "adaptation". Based on a survey, a research was conducted to identify some of the problems of foreign students in relation to activities of life, learning, cultural development and dynamics of mentality. Based on the analysis of the results of the research, it is possible to determine the circle of reasons for coming to study in Russia and identify the main difficulties of the adaptation process.
