The article presents the research material aimed at studying the attitude of students to physical education after completing this discipline, according to the work program at the university. The results of the study showed that 34% of students in the master's program are not engaged in physical activity in any of its manifestations. At the same time, it is noted that the influence of the student sports club, its work in the sports and mass direction, on the motivation of undergraduates to engage in physical culture. The results of the study showed that up to 25% of the list of members of the national sports teams of the student sports club are undergraduates
