Introduction. In this work, the degree of motivation of college students to the process of passing the standards of the TRP complex was determined. The issue of pedagogical conditions that increase the degree of involvement of students in the process of passing the standards of the TRP complex was also considered. Currently, the VFSK "Ready for Work and Defense" is the programmatic and normative basis for physical education of all population groups throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. The task of this complex is to maximize the involvement of the population in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, improving physical qualities. But unfortunately, not everyone wants to pass the standards of this complex. One of the reasons is the low level of motivation of the population, including college students. The purpose of this study is to identify optimal pedagogical conditions for increasing the level of motivation of students of the Kaluga Industrial Pedagogical College to the process of passing the standards of the TRP complex. The study was conducted during the 2022-2023 academic year. It was attended by students of the non-physical education department, most of whom did not know about the TRP complex and did not comply with these standards.
