There is an opinion that athletes have a low level of education due to lack of time for training. There is some truth in this, training takes up a significant part of the time and there is simply not enough time to study. However, there are also people who manage to combine high achievements in sports and achievements, for example, in science. This study examines the IQ level of students who play sports and those who do not play sports. The data obtained indicate that the IQ level of athletes is quite high, and it is necessary to revise the training system for such people in order to obtain the maximum educational effect
