The article presents a study of the relationship between the parameters of sensorimotor coordination in specialized and non-specialized movements of athletes-cadets 18-20 years old engaged in army hand-to-hand combat and the characteristics of competitive activity. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the fact that for the first time the nature of the relationship between the parameters of general and special sensorimotor coordination, as well as their significance for the implementation of competitive activity in athletes in army hand-to-hand combat, has been determined. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the results obtained in the development of an effective testing program for martial artists at various stages of the annual training cycle and planning the content of their special physical training under the conditions of using sensorimotor training tools as an effective means of conjugate development of sensorimotor coordination, speed and speed-strength capabilities of athletes specializing in army hand-to-hand combat
