The purpose of the study is to investigate the characteristics and age‑related dynamics of maximal stroke volume of the heart in triathletes aged 13–18 years. Research methods and organization. Analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature data were used, as well as cardiorespiratory incremental exercise testing with gas analysis, electrocardiography, anthropometry, and mathematical statistics methods. The study involved members of the triathlon team of the Tyumen region aged 13–18 years. The duration of the study was 5 years. Research results and conclusions. Average values of maximal stroke volume of the heart, cardiac output, and cardiac indices in triathletes of each age group were established, as well as features of their dynamics. Correlations of systolic output with physical development indicators and load parameters were revealed. Analysis of physical load parameters will allow individualization of training recommendations aimed at improving cardiac performance.
