Study of the dependence of somatic health indicators on the level of physical activity in female students of the main medical health group
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to determine the dependence of somatic health indicators on the level of motor activity in female students of the main medical health group from non-sports majors at the university. Research methods and organization. Theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature data, a pedagogical experiment, comparative analysis, and methods of mathematical statistics were used. The pedagogical experiment was conducted at Derzhavin Tambov State University (TSU). Physical development was assessed using anthropometric indicators and functional tests in female students aged 20–21 from non-sports majors. All students belonged to the main medical health group. Research results and conclusions. The results of the study confirmed the hypothesis of low motor activity of female students as one of the factors affecting the demographic and economic indicators of the country. The necessity of organizing additional recreational activities outside of class time, including slide-aerobics and combining aerobic and strength orientations, to overcome the identified motor activity deficit was substantiated.
