The purpose of the study is to identify, based on the results of a survey of specialists conducting classes in adaptive physical activity and adaptive sport, the factors affecting the involvement of individuals with acquired musculoskeletal disorders in adaptive physical activity and adaptive sport. Research methods and organization. The study used the method of analysis and generalization of the results of a survey of specialists conducting classes in adaptive physical activity and adaptive sport with individuals with acquired musculoskeletal disorders. The author's questionnaire included closed and open‑ended questions aimed at identifying the main purpose of classes, reasons for absences and termination of classes among the specified population. Data processing was carried out using methods of descriptive statistics, categorization, and comparative analysis. Research results and conclusions. The goals that individuals with acquired musculoskeletal disorders wish to achieve by engaging in adaptive physical activity and adaptive sport were identified. A discrepancy was found between low initial motivation and high motivational potential, which can be revealed through systematic classes. The key reasons for absences and termination of classes were determined.
