Abstract:
This article examines the impact of changes in the rules of the sport "hand-to-hand combat" on the effectiveness of athletes' execution of throws, painful holds, and choking techniques in competitions. A comparative analysis of the implementation of these techniques over different years is presented. The conducted research will enable coaches and athletes to enhance the quality of their training process and develop more rational combat tactics. Additionally, this article will be beneficial for judges providing officiating services at hand-to-hand combat competitions
