DESIGNING CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALIZED PERCEPTIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SPORTS SELECTION AND SWIMMERS TRAINING SUPPORT

Abstract:
The article presents the analysis of scientific researches of specialized perceptions of swimmers. Based on the results of this analysis, an assumption was made that the design of unbiased criteria for assessing the level of developments of specialized perceptions, which would determine the efficiency of swimmer's interaction with aquatic environment and which would be computed using the high technology video recording and digital processing of data of kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the swimming cycle, would enable a swimmer to choose the optimal combinations of these characteristics for generating the most effective interaction with water in the training session The goal of the research was to design criteria for assessing the level of swimmers' coordination abilities. In order to achieve the goal, the following tasks have been identified: (a) Based on the scientific and methodological literature revies, and also analyzing the experience of leading specialists in sports swimming to determine technical and pedagogical methods of assessing the state of coordination abilities and specialized perceptions of swimmers of different training levels; (b)To design criteria for assessing the state of development of specialized perceptions of swimmers that ensure their effective interaction with the aquatic environment and to experimentally test their effectiveness Based on the results of the study, the Coordination Abilities Index (CAI) was developed and its effectiveness in sports qualification and supporting the training of swimmers was verified in experimental tests
