The article discusses the current results of an innovative (experimental) project for the creation of sports centers (hereinafter referred to as CSP) training of student teams in professional educational organizations. The creation of the CSP at Lesgaft University as part of the implementation of the integration process of educational, scientific and sports work from January 1,2023 made it possible to introduce an effective model that allows student-athletes to be realized both in sports and in the development of basic professional educational programs. Students of the University of Lesgaft who have successfully passed the entrance examinations and meet the requirements of the federal standards of sports training (hereinafter referred to as FSSP) in selected sports (rhythmic gymnastics and biathlon) demonstrate the first, successful results of intermediate certification and performances at competitions at various levels
