The relevance of the problem under study is due to the lack of methodological support for the process of teaching the technique of “Combat techniques of fighting” (BBP) to cadets of educational organizations of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The work presents the organization and methodological support of the initial stage of training in combat fighting techniques. The purpose of this study was to develop methodological support for organizing the educational and training process on the topic “Combat techniques of wrestling” at the initial stage, for cadets of the first year of training. The article presents the means and scope of implementation of the initial stage of BPB training, as well as methodological recommendations for its high-quality implementation. The materials of our work may be useful to the teaching staff of the departments of physical training and sports in educational organizations of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, as well as to employees of departments of the penal system (penal system) for conducting classes on the topic “Combat techniques of wrestling”
