The main indicator of the success of sports work in the organization is the results of athletes' performance at competitions of various levels, while international student competitions occupy a special place for athletes who simultaneously master the main professional educational programs of higher education and receive a future profession. Purpose of the study: to analyze the results of the performance of athletes studying at Lesgaft University at the International University Sports Festival as an indicator of the success of integrating sports work into the activities of an educational organization. Methodology and organization of the study. As the main one, the ascertaining method of research was used, as well as a comparative analysis of the results of the performance of student-athletes. Research results and conclusions. Statistics on the total number of participants of the Festival, the final distribution of teams in the unofficial medal standings, depending on their membership in the educational organization, are provided. The contribution of student athletes of the University of Lesgaft to the team victory is also considered, depending on belonging to a selected sport, sports and pedagogical department and obtaining higher education in the main professional educational programs of higher education
