The article discusses the positive experience of developing lagging physical qualities among students undergoing initial training for the position of police officer in a shortened time. The methodology of conducting complex educational and training sessions introduced into the physical training discipline program, borrowed from the system of conducting training sessions of the Armed Forces, has proven its effectiveness in compensating for the necessary strength, speed and endurance indicators
