INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF ANXIETY AND THE METABOLOMIC PROFILE OF THE BLOOD PLASMA OF BOXERS

Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to study the metabolomic profile of the blood plasma of boxing athletes living in extreme conditions of the North during the training period and to identify the correlation between the level of anxiety and metabolism. The methodology and organization of the study. For the first time, metabolic profiling of boxing athletes (n=21), indigenous residents of Yakutia, was carried out using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), which made it possible to identify 65 low-molecular compounds in the blood plasma: fatty acids (n=12), organic acids (n=14), amino acids (n=12), sugars and their derivatives (n=15), sterols (n=1), lipid derivatives (n=5), inorganic acids (n=1), nitrogen-containing substances (n=4) and phenolic compounds (n=1). The research results revealed significant differences between the metabolomic profile of the blood plasma of boxers and the level of situational anxiety, at a low level of which a number of biochemical processes that ensure the balance of bioenergetic processes and their neuroendocrine regulation are disrupted. Conclusions. Further research is needed to confirm and verify the results, including in other sports groups, in order to identify adaptive psychophysiological and biochemical rearrangements of the body and develop biogenic physiological and psychophysiological ways to optimize them to achieve better results in various sports without compromising the health of athletes
