Abstract:
Dynamically changing socio-economic conditions influence the increasing role of economic education, since economics, today, is the foundation for almost all socio-economic processes occurring in the country. The purpose of the article is to identify the main trends in the development of economic education. Analysis of scientific, educational, methodological and popular literature, as well as regulatory documents, made it possible to identify the following main trends: adaptation of higher education to the processes of globalization; digitalization and computerization of education; introduction of online learning formats; widespread development of online learning, mobile training programs; academic mobility of students; practice-oriented educational process; commercialization of education; active development of self-employment; the use of various forms of presentation of educational material in the educational process. The practical significance of the work lies in a detailed description of each of the identified trends
