A number of exercises in sports are performed on projectiles that are simultaneously elastic supports for a person. In this case, the latter is, in fact, a spring with which the athlete interacts and which influences the technique of movement execution. On the basis of the analysis with the help of phase planes for a large backward turn on the bar in artistic gymnastics the influence of elastic properties of the sports projectile on the motion of the biomechanical system, as which is the musculoskeletal system of a person, is investigated.
