Abstract:
Competitions are the most important component of sport as a type of human activity and implies compliance with a set of rules. This article presents the results of a survey to identify coaches, athletes and judges' opinions about the level (quality) of refereeing at mas-wrestling competitions. The analysis of the rules of the sport, competition documents, pedagogical observation of competitive fights was carried out, written protests of the participants were considered and the number of warnings issued by arbitrators for violation of the rules during the competition was recorded. The results obtained made it possible to identify the main limiting factors in improving the level (quality) of refereeing at competitions
