This article publishes the results of a study conducted at the Smolensk State University of Sports (SSUS) among undergraduates in the period from 2021 to 2022 academic years. The purpose of the study is to identify the assessment of the students of the master's degree of SSUS on the problems of the quality of higher professional education at the bachelor's and master's level, allowing to develop recommendations for improving the system of indicators and criteria for the quality of education received at the university. It was assumed that students have the right to take an active part in the processes of ensuring the quality of their education through questionnaires and other ways of receiving feedback. This study determines how much students themselves are interested in changes and improvements in the quality of their education, what they see as the main problems and what difficulties they have faced and are facing now
