Abstract:
The article presents a detailed analysis of the results of the participation of wrestling students of P.F. Lesgaft NSU at the VIII All-Russian Universiade 2022. The purpose of the study is to study the performance indicators of the integration of sports work at the Department of Theory and Methods of Wrestling. It was established that students of the Department of Theory and Methodology in four types of wrestling (judo, sambo, Greco-Roman, freestyle) won 20 medals, including 8 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze awards. At the same time, the judokas who won first place in the team competition, as well as sambo wrestlers who took third place, performed the most successfully. All this allowed the student wrestlers to make a significant contribution to the overall team standings of the university in terms of the medal number of awards won. This circumstance was the basis for the approval of the effectiveness of the integration organization of sports work at the university, in relation to the Department of Theory and Methods of wrestling
