Abstract:
The problem of basic military training is increasingly being raised in our society, a law has already been adopted to introduce BMT into the school curriculum from September 1, 2023, a bill has been submitted to the State Duma to increase the period of conscription military service to 2 years. This article describes the BMT program developed at the Siberian State Industrial University. The results of approbation of this program are presented. The data obtained indicate the formation of the necessary skills, namely topographical, tactical skills, handling and firing weapons, physical training and protection against weapons of mass destruction (WMD)
