Physical activity optimizes cardiac activity. The need to continue searching for the most rational option for physical activity creates a need for research on the impact of judo classes on the youthful body. Purpose of the study - evaluate the main cardiac parameters of young judokas. Methodology and organization of the study. 18 youth judokas with at least 2 years of sports training experience were observed. The control group consisted of 20 physically inactive young men. All young men of both groups underwent an ultrasound examination of the heart using the SSD-80 Aloka device (Japan). The calculation of the Student's t-test was carried out. Research results and discussion. In judoists, a slight hypertrophy of the myocardium of the left ventricle was noted, which does not affect its overall size and the volume of its cavity. Young judoists are characterized by pronounced diastolic relaxation of the myocardium, which exceeds that of physically unprepared young men. Conclusions. Regular classes in the judo section increase overall fitness and strengthen the heart muscle. Under conditions of judo training, the wall of the left ventricle experiences thickening, increasing its functionality and not affecting the overall hemodynamics
