The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the program of the health-improving and training process by using the means of adaptive physical culture for young wrestlers with dislocation of the elbow joint during the recovery period of rehabilitation. The experimental group consisted of 10 junior wrestlers aged 15-18 who have been practicing judo for more than 6 years. Pedagogical and medical-biological methods assessed the level of somatic health, physical fitness, functional state of the elbow joint among junior wrestlers with dislocation of the elbow joint. It has been established that the rational use of the complex of means of rehabilitation and training within the framework of the mesocycle contributes to an increase in the adaptive capabilities of the body: the Robinson index (p<0,01), life and strength indices (p<0,05). Educational and training tasks of the specific orientation accelerate the process of restoring the motor abilities of the elbow joint (flexion and extension by 15,9% and 26,8%, p <0,01), respectively; endurance by 40,3% (p<0.001), dexterity - 29,1% (p<0.05), strength - 29,9% (p<0.01). The value of the complex system of the health-improving and training process within the mesocycle at the recovery stage of rehabilitation depends on the rational combination of both rehabilitation and training means
