This article analyzes the influence of physical training and sports on the intellectual abilities of cadets and students of educational organizations of law enforcement agencies, reveals the relationship between physical and mental performance. The factors influencing the success of intellectual activity were considered. The survey was conducted and the anonymous questionnaire data concerning the respondents' attitude to physical activity were systematized
