Morphological parameters of athletes, which determine constitutional types, have great influence on the degree of development of physical qualities, as well as the technical training of wrestlers, which must be considered in sports selection and sports prediction of the success of competitive activity of athletes. Anthropometric indicators, their variability in constitutional types in adolescence are indicators of the level of physical development and makes it possible to assess the effect of training loads on the body of athletes. The purpose of the study was to study anthropometric indicators and constitutional types of judokas of youthful age, which are the nearest sports reserve of members of the national team of the country. The methodology and organization of the study. The anthropometric data of 17 judokas of the youthful age period, involved in the Olympic Reserve School Dynamo-Dmitrov, were studied. Anthropometry was carried out and constitutional types were also evaluated according to the classical method of V. V. Bunak. The constitutional types of muscular-pectoral and pectoral-muscular were determined. A comparative characteristic of anthropometric data was carried out, taking into account the physique. The dominant morphological features are body weight and girth dimensions of the hip and shoulder (tense and relaxed). Conclusions. The revealed differences in morphological features in the present study in these somatotypes indicate the features of age-related development, which makes it possible to predict the increase in the role of the muscle component in the morphological component of the success of future competitive activity in the age aspect
