INFLUENCE OF ROPE SKIPPING CLASSES ON THE PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE OF SCHOOLCHILDREN

Abstract:
The level of health and physical performance of school-age children in Russia tends to decrease every year, which is reflected in the studies of various authors. One of the key problems is insufficient physical activity. The health savings of schoolchildren is one of the main directions for improving the structure and content of general education. For the introduction of the new author's programs in new directions in the physical education program, as well as extracurricular activities, requires new relevant research work. The organization of functional practical classes and increasing interest in them through the use of new forms of physical culture and sports can be the solution to this problem in the general educational institution. The study was conducted in 2022 on the basis of the Municipal budgetary educational institution of Astrakhan "Secondary School No. 4 named after T. G. Shevchenko" (MBOU Astrakhan "Secondary School No. 4"). In the experimental group, rope skipping tools were used during classes. During the experiment, tests were developed by the team of authors that determine the level of physical performance: the Barbell test, the Genchi test, the Rufier-Dixon test, the Harvard step test. The tests were conducted at the beginning (September 2021) and at the end of the study (June 2022). According to the results of the pedagogical experiment, improvements in indicators for all tests were recorded in two groups, but the results of the subjects of the experimental group were higher than those of those engaged in the control group. The use of a technique with elements of rope skipping in the framework of physical culture classes is effective and can be applied in practice within the framework of variable physical culture classes
