The purpose of the study is to assess the level of physical activity and fitness of students during the process of playing phygital football at a higher education institution. Research methods and organization. During the research, methods of analysis of scientific and methodological sources, pedagogical experimentation, pedagogical testing, and methods of statistical data processing were employed. The study was organized at the Federal State Educational Budgetary Institution of Higher Education "Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation." In the course of the research, training sessions in phygital sports were conducted with the students, the discipline being phygital football. Research results and conclusions. A positive influence of engaging in phygital football on the level of physical activity and physical fitness among student youth has been identified, indicating the appropriateness of integrating phygital sports into the training process conducted with university students.
