The purpose of the study is to determine the algorithm for developing standards for the testing (tests) of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" for individuals with Down syndrome. Research methods and organization. Regulatory legal documents of the Russian Federation in the field of physical culture and sports of high achievements, scientific articles on the developmental characteristics of individuals with Down syndrome and the manifestation of their physical abilities have been analyzed. The experience of the authors-developers of the testing (tests) standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex for people with disabilities and individuals with limited health capabilities has been studied. Research results and conclusions. An algorithm "Determination of corrected coefficients (handicap)" has been identified for the further development of specific standards for the testing (tests) of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" for individuals with Down syndrome. A comparative analysis of world records in various disciplines in the sports of individuals with intellectual disabilities (classes IN-1 and IN-2) has been conducted. Significant differences in the sports achievements of individuals with intellectual disabilities and individuals with Down syndrome have been identified.
