The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a multimedia computer complex in the training process of fencing judges at the initial training stage. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, testing. Research results and conclusions. The results of the study demonstrated the effectiveness of using a multimedia computer complex. The foundation for training fencing judges at the initial education stage consists of knowledge of competition rules, with a qualitative assessment of the most complex moments of bouts and the simulation of practical actions in the form of 'virtual judging'.
