Physical culture and health technologies in a pharmaceutical university

Abstract (English):
The research work of the Center for Physical Culture and Health of the Saint Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University was carried out in accordance with the scientific direction 'Studying the Pathways of Modernizing Pharmaceutical Education'. The purpose of the study is to develop a weekly microcycle program of health-enhancing running and walking activities for students of a pharmaceutical university. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, surveys, method of mathematical statistics. Research results and conclusions. The significance of health as an important factor in the quality of life of future specialists in the pharmaceutical industry is highlighted; the dynamics of their morbidity and health status as a whole have been analyzed. The indicators from the sociological survey revealed a low level of knowledge among students about the role of physical culture in maintaining health and its importance for future professional activities. As a result of the research, programs for a weekly microcycle of health-oriented running and walking sessions have been developed for students from different medical groups and years of study in a pharmaceutical university.
