The purpose of the study is to develop a justified methodology that ensures the effective development of speed-strength qualities in young football players. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experimentation, and mathematical statistics were employed. The program, based on jumping exercises, was integrated into the traditional educational and training process for football players and tested during classes at the Youth Sports School. Research results and conclusions. The presented methodology, with the correct ratio of load and rest, positively influenced the speed-strength indicators of the football players. The high practical significance of the developed methodology in the educational and training process for the preparation of young footballers has been proven.
