Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to identify the dynamics of the development of such willpower qualities in students of the St. Petersburg State University College of Physical Education and Sports, Economics and Technology as determination, persistence and tenacity, initiative and independence, courage and decisiveness, self-discipline and composure in light of their participation in sports volunteering events. Research methods: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, longitudinal study, psychological testing, methods of mathematical statistics. Research results and conclusions. It has been proven that sports volunteering positively influences the development of persistence and determination, as well as the generalization of courage, decisiveness, goal orientation, self-control, and endurance.
