The article examines modern approaches to organizing the technical training of snowboarders specializing in acrobatic disciplines. The purpose of the study – to determine methodological directions for developing a scientific concept for teaching the movement techniques of snowboard athletes specializing in acrobatic snowboarding disciplines. Research methods and organization: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, programmatic and regulatory documents, Internet resources on the research problem, pedagogical observation, survey methods, methods of mathematical statistics. The research was conducted in 2021-2024 during the period of All-Russian competitions and training events in preparation for them. Research results and conclusions. It has been identified that in contemporary sports theory and methodology, there is a lack of a scientifically substantiated system of views on the process of technical training for snowboarders in acrobatic snowboarding disciplines, and scientific-methodological support for this aspect of snowboarder training has also not been developed. Based on the conducted analysis of the current state of the issue, a methodology for developing a scientific concept for teaching acrobatic snowboarding techniques is proposed.
