The purpose of the study – to study the possibility of using specialized hardware and software complexes for the development of cognitive functions in highly qualified fencers. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis of specialized literature and generalization of the obtained data were used. An analysis of hardware and software complexes that can be used to assess the perceptual-cognitive functions of highly qualified fencers was conducted. Research results and conclusions. The application of the proposed hardware and software complexes in fencing will allow the athlete to focus exclusively on the perception and analysis of external information, which stimulates the athlete to concentrate efforts on developing the necessary mental skills. Specialized software complexes can serve as additional tools for coaches and contribute to enhancing the skill level and effectiveness of the competitive activities of fencers.
