Results of the application of a subject training complex with a skipping rope in the training process of gymnasts
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to develop and experimentally substantiate a subject training complex with a skipping rope in the training process of gymnasts. Research methods and organization. Methods of research such as theoretical substantiation of the data from literary sources, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experimentation, and mathematical-statistical data processing were employed. The study involved gymnasts participating in the Candidate for Master of Sport program. Research results and conclusions. The main technical characteristics of rope skipping movements have been studied. Assessment tools have been developed to quickly evaluate the technical proficiency of gymnasts in rope skipping exercises. A program based on rope skipping training tools has been developed, and the effectiveness of applying the developed program in the training process of gymnasts has been experimentally proven.
