The article reveals the problem of improving the efficiency of learning educational material through the implementation of classes in the form of complex hiking trips at the Department of Physical Training in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The following issues were considered: the integration of tourist trips into the educational process of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia; the use of special events (scenarios) that can be implemented within the framework of a tourist trip; the study of the process of developing practical skills in trainees through business games, interactive tasks, and case methods.
