The purpose of the study is to develop training programs for basketball movement techniques based on the inclusion of rhythm and tempo exercises as methods for forming high-quality motor actions in time and space. Research methods and organization. An analysis of the literature has been conducted with an emphasis on issues related to the sense of rhythm as a component of coordination training for basketball players over 14 years old and various playing positions. Research results and conclusions. It has been established that an insufficiently developed sense of rhythm in the coordination of actions and their intensity leads to ineffective training of athletes in various roles and an increased risk of injury. Special attention should be paid to rhythm and tempo during the age period from 14 years, as it is the most favorable for developing coordination and the functional maturation of the musculoskeletal system. A four-stage training methodology has been developed, aimed at enhancing coordination abilities through exercises with varying rhythm and tempo.
