The article examines the system of organization and management of non-Olympic sports among students in the city of federal significance and at Sevastopol State University. The study determined that non-Olympic types of motor activity are cultivated among students, which are represented by nine generalized groups (gaming, martial arts, sports and technical, shooting, sports carried out in the natural environment, intellectual, aesthetic and dance (complex coordination), strength and complex. The analysis of statistical data showed that 27% of students at the university are engaged in non-traditional types of physical activity. The analysis of the preferences of university students showed that the most popular are various types of tourism, martial arts and strength fitness, as well as aesthetic and dance sports.
