Abstract (English):
The article offers a specialist an overview of the performance of female windsurfers at the most important international competitions - the Olympic Games. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the leading countries in windsurfing among women are France, Italy, China and the United Kingdom. The favorites at the last Olympic Games in 2020 are China, France and the United Kingdom. Among the Russian athletes who took part in the Olympics only four out of eight times in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020, achieved the best results. S.A. Elfutina, who won the third place and the bronze medal at the XXXI Summer Olympics, which were held in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 2016. The success of S.A. Elfutina suggests that the training system for female windsurfers in our country is effective.
