In the free-style wrestling training process, much attention is paid to the development of dexterity as one of the leading psychophysical qualities, the level of development of which determines the effectiveness of students' participation in competitive activities. The article presents the results of a study indicating the effectiveness of the development of dexterity in primary school students in the conditions of widespread use of gaming technologies in the system of additional education in freestyle wrestling. The peculiarities of the organization of the study, the definition of the object and subject of the study are due to the sensitive period of dexterity development (age 7-12 years) and the dominance of gaming activity in this age period.
