The article presents the results of a study on the comparative assessment of biochemical parameters of athletes specializing in various sports: weightlifting, volleyball, athletics. The study was conducted at the preparatory stage of a one-year training cycle. In order to identify the features of biochemical adaptation and the degree of tolerability of training sessions in the blood of athletes, biochemical parameters that are regulators and enzymes of energy metabolism were determined. The features of energy supply of muscular activity of athletes specializing in various sports, as well as signs of overtraining and fatigue of the athletes' body, are revealed.
