Functional preparation of sabre fencers at the stage of improving sports skills
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article discusses issues related to optimizing the functional training of sabre fencers at the stage of improving sports skills. At this stage, coaches and athletes face serious gaps in technical, functional, and psychological training due to the lack of a solid training base at an earlier stage of fencing classes. It is extremely problematic to correct such shortcomings due to the already established standard of training in the sport, a large amount of tactical and psychological work, and competitive practice. There is especially little time left to increase the level of functional readiness by traditional general physical methods. The relevance of this work lies in the fact that the presented set of tools allows you to increase the functional readiness of athletes without making changes to the content of the educational and training process.
