Research results and conclusions. In the period from 2012 to 2016, the International Paralympic Committee held two Summer Paralympics, which, on the one hand, saw the expansion of the competition program due to the inclusion of new sports disciplines and new sports, the clarification of specialized classification and the active use of new competitive equipment; on the other hand, the unprecedented degradation of human morality and the trampling of the ideals of humanism of Paralympic sports, built by Ludwig Gutmann, the founder of the Paralympic movement, expressed in the form of the illegal suspension of the Russian national team from the 2016 Games two weeks before the start of the forum. This situation became possible due to the seizure of power in leading sports institutions, including the International Paralympic Committee, by the British and Americans, with the subsequent opportunism and politicization of their decisions, including in the form of fulfilling the order of the Russophobic ruling elites of their countries.
