The importance of psychological preparation in the process of improving the shooting qualities of qualified biathlonists

Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to examine the effectiveness of using psychological tests in the training process of skilled biathletes. Research methods: questionnaires, surveys, testing, mathematical data processing. Research results and conclusions. The results of testing athletes and coaches are presented. It was found that the implementation of a comprehensive program, including psychophysiological self-regulation techniques, cognitive-behavioral methods, and concentration development, significantly enhances the consistency of a biathlete's performance at the shooting range.
