Abstract (English):
This study was aimed at studying the effect of strength training in competitive exercise in powerlifting, barbell squats at a fast and medium pace using a small number of repetitions on the development of absolute strength and strength qualities. The results show that a fast pace of performing exercises with a high load and a small number of repetitions can lead to an increase in the student's strength development indicators.
