In swimming, sports activities are subject to the basic laws of sports training. The success of the performances of the students depends on a competent approach to their implementation. For effective competitive activity, it is also necessary to observe the factors that influence the training and competitive processes of athletes specializing in a certain discipline of the chosen sport. In the course of the work, the rank structure of the factors influencing the choice of organizational and methodological support for highly qualified stayer swimmers was revealed.
