In the basic physical education program of a secondary school, the Sports Games section occupies one of the leading places, and its successful implementation largely depends on the teacher, who must have not only methodological, but practical skills, master the content of the main types of sports games included in the program such as volleyball, football, basketball. The Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Biomedical Disciplines of Irkutsk State University has developed and successfully implemented a program for the formation of universal gaming competence among students of the profile "Physical Culture". As a result, the level of universal possession of the ball among the students of the experimental group had a significantly significant dynamic.
