The article presents a study aimed at developing a program for planning speed and strength training of karate students of the training stage in the preparatory period of training. Research objectives: to develop a plan for speed and strength training based on the details of the means and methods in the preparatory stage of karate training of the training stage; to introduce the proposed planning technology into the training process and prove its effectiveness. The program for planning speed and strength training has been optimized based on the detailing of means and methods in the preparatory period of classes in training groups; the proposed approach to planning training sessions allows in a short time to increase the level of speed and strength abilities of karate students of the training stage. The identified features of the development of speed-strength abilities allowed us to select practical tools and methods for detailing the planning of the program of speed-strength training of karate students of the training stage; the proposed planning technology has been tested.
