Based on the results shown by the 2023 World Championships finalists, it is possible to determine the main female contenders for winning gold medals, in particular, on the uneven bars of the upcoming Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in 2024. The purpose of the study is determination of the real competitiveness of Russian female gymnasts’ best results in comparison with the 52nd World Championships finalists on the uneven bars. Tasks: to determine the content of the routines of the World Championships and the Russian Cup finalists on the uneven bars; to conduct a comparative analysis of the Russian and the best world female gymnasts’ results on the uneven bars in 2023. Conclusions. The results of the 2023 World Championships finalists on the uneven bars allow us to identify the main contenders for the gold medal at the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad 2024 in Paris. It was revealed that Russian female gymnast V. Listunova could have claimed the gold medal of the World Championships and Olympic Games in Paris.
